2009 TREASURE EXPO

That Expo is hosted by my ARRG partner, David Toller. It looks like it will be a really big event. I'm going.

David has done an amazing job of putting this together over the last 6 months.

It is going to be a huge event and there are many big names from the shipwreck community coming. It is also a very diverse group as well. David is into MDing and there will be a huge following of detectorist as well. Civil war relics, bottle collectors, Meg teeth, shipwreck artifacts and I am sure lots more.

I know a lot of the ARRG crew will be there and I hope many of you can make it as well. MB is a great vacation spot. Maybe you can plan a trip around that time.

I am not sure, but I bet we could get a block of rooms for the expo at a discounted rate. David may have already looked into this.

Hope to see some of you guys there!

Pegleg would have been proud. I've got word that Barry Clifford (of Whydah fame) may be speaking.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the compliments. I have been working VERY hard to make this the biggest treasure hunting show ever for the treasure hunting community.
The show's website is www.treasureexpo.com.
I have reserved a block of rooms for the show. Everyone planning to attend who wants to stay right at the Springmaid Beach Resort (where the show is) you can make reservations throught the show's website. Just make sure when you call you let them know you are attending the 2009 Treasure Expo & Trade Show and they will give you the discounted rate.
Thanks again. I hope to see you all there.

I was told you spoke to Keith on the Polly L, he ask if I was interested in setting up a booth, I'm game. You might want to contact him again. We have a lot going on about that time and I am not sure we can swing it but he could tell you more.

I look forward to seeing you all there. I'm excited to meet alot of you that I haven't had the opportunity to meet yet.
I was planning on calling Keith tomorrow (Saturday) with Polly-L and Amelia Research & Recovery. I think the last time I talked with him was a week ago.
I was trying to get to him today, but was on the phone all day with Barry Clifford and Dale Clifton. They are both looking at coming.
This is going to be an exciting show!

David,
Although I would have loved to participate with the show, it is just out of the question. We have a lot of work to do to get ready for the season and time is of the essence.
You all "tip" one for me and enjoy the show.

Diverlynn

Lynn, I'm sorry you guys won't be attending. I was really looking forward to meeting you all. I'm sure the other treasure hunting enthusiasts around the Country would have enjoyed talking with you and seeing your display's also.
On the positive side, Seafarer Exploration just committed for the show. I'm excited to have such a great response from the off-shore treasure hunting community. This will give all the enthusiasts a chance to see what "real" treasure hunting companies go through and the rewards they receive.
Hope to see you all there.

Only one week until the 2009 Treasure Expo & Trade Show.
It's going to be a GREAT show. I look forward to meeting everyone and making new friends. I'm sure I will be hunting with alot of you in the future, now that we all have a chance to finally meet.

This is it, the 2009 Treasure Expo & Trade Show is coming in only a couple days. Everyone please be careful traveling to Myrtle Beach this weekend, and I'll see you at the show.
**** NEXT YEAR at the 2010 Treasure Expo & Trade Show there will be a treat for treasure divers. The FMDAC is hosting a Seeded Beach Hunt for the show this weekend, but next year I plan to host a SEEDED DIVE HUNT on the Governor right off-shore of Myrtle Beach, SC. There will be all kinds of relics, silver coins, prize tokens and other valubables planted around the wreck. Make sure you bring your metal detectors and dive gear.
