2008 and why they call me the JUNK YARD DOG

Whew! What a Great year you have had. Really nice finds, love the CW finds. Man you must
live in a great area to detect.

The little pearl handled pistol, was a gift to a buyer who bought a real pistol. It probably would
have been a watch fob. Just my guess, but I do have a small toy pistol that was a watch fob and
did come with a real pistol.

Thanks for your great post.

Junk Yard Dog, Impressive collection!!! Man you did some serious digging this year. Next to your horseshoes is the EXACT top to a sissy bar I had on my 73 Sportster back in 75!!! Man,you talk about a piece bringing back some memories! Wow...great job! HH in "09"

JYD, i was just looking at your finds again and something in your 11th pic jumped out at me.I think i have an identical whatzit as yours.I first thought that it might be a soap dish but seems a little small for that. It has lettering on the bottom starting with Vam..... can't make out all the letters. Here's a pic of mine,do you know what these things are? HH

Yea Jerry it a incense burner either made by or imported by Vantines, pretty popular back in the '20s, art deco type items. JYD
