still a nice find!!!

One of my cashier's the other night, got a $2 bill in her till as change...it was RED!!! Dang it...she had to be a coin collector too...I now have competion at work! LOL!!! I want to say it was a 1963...but don't quote me on the date....I'll have to ask her tonight if she remembers the date....she has over 200 $2.00 bills...she said not worth much...but her mother left her a lot of them and she's continued to collect them.

You'll have to be quicker than she is. HA I had the same thing happen a few years ago to one of my cashiers except a man brought her a roll of silver quarters, cashed them in at face. She busted the roll in her till and used them for change. When I finally found out I ended up with about $7 in silver quarters. She had no clue.

Ouch!!! Atleast you were able to get a few of them...that's how the "kids" at work are...wondering why I am always looking at coins. Just today, I got a 1945 P Nickel (above monticello) in my till ...far and few inbetween, but they are filtering in!!!

I can only imagine what they let slip through their fingers...UGH!!! LOL

Sorry It is not an error, but a very curious piece. It could come down to a slightly different pigment in the ink.
