✅ SOLVED 2001 silver colored maple - Not Colored

I have a 2001 Silver Canada $5 Colored Maple, without the color. The coin appears mint / untampered, and in all other regards matches my other colored maples. Is it possible for the color to have been removed? Will the value be less? Thanks in advance for any help.
