I hope your skunk streak ends soon. I'd hate to think you are in an area that is totally played out. Hang in there, I'll be pulling for you and will celebrate loudly when you hit that big score.

I think volume is one good way to roll the inventory and move coins around. So I can understand why you'd want to "surge" a hunt by drawing a lot of stock at once. It sounds like you are being appropriately judicious and cautious about the orders you are placing on the banks. Of course the most important part of that is good communications with the banks so that you can create an environment where they can let you know in advance if your needs are becoming too burdensome.

Thanks for this. I too have learned it is crucial to broach the subject of wearing out your welcome before they do. Having that open candid dialogue is the key, but can be difficult when dealing with the more non-social types. Fortunately most are due to the nature of the service style industry.

We'll see what the Deuce drags in this Thursday!

i did 20 boxes a week for over a year. had some great finds. never had a problem on the order end. the vault teller told me one time she would order as many as i wanted as long as i did not take them back to her. i said ok i'll take 100 boxes next week. without even blinking she wrote down 100. i told her that i was just kidding and she said she would order me as many as i wanted. kind of wish i had because the finds were great at the time. dumping would have been a pain. that is where all my problems are. seems if you take in more than 3K to any bank they want to balk. as my finds dried up (due to massive competition around here) i had to reduce my order. also am charged a dump fee (3.00 per 1K) and that had something to do with the reduction too, but mostly the meager finds.
