2 targets 6 foot deep.

Hi John, The bulkhead, much like one of it's roles in a ship...keeps water in a contained area. The object in the Pulse 8X is to allow you to change coils underwater without frying the electronics. Mine has the bulkhead, but I have yet to change coils underwater. I think some guys buy that huge coil that rides on a sled, and tow it along the bottom until they get a hit. Then they switch to the 7.5" coil to pinpoint the object. It'll be a while before I do anything that extravegant with mine, but it is a superb detector, worth every penny and then some.

So what were your two targets? Inquiring minds want to know! :D

ScubaSeeker, I haven't dug there ..yet... 5 to 6 feet, I don't know, more checking to do on this one and I'm sure it will fill with water before the hole is dug 3 feet...

Gldhntr.... Checked again today, still got the same targets, 2 of them, Depth indicated to be 5 to 6 feet!!!

This is rediculuse you gonna talk or dig Id rather spend a couple hrs diggin and baleing, than 1000 bucks on a detector that wont confirm, DIG IT ALREADY I hope you find GOLD Silver and other unmentionabels. Get it, Cash it, and run away.

Yes, I've left this one alone for now. I found an old timer that recalls that there were metal Poles sunk into the ground braced to provide an anchor point for the cables that were strung across the River to guide the Ferry. So I now believe that it was iron, not gold that was indicated.

Hey CaptJohn...Way to go....If it's more than 2 1/2 foot deep and I can't use other equipment to tell me whats down there......Some one else can dig it...Art
