2 Silver rings, 2 old knives and a "what is it?"

These are my finds from 2 hunts. Yesterday's water hunt and a land hunt the day before. The two old knives were found about 20' from each other at about 6-8" depth. The iron piece came out of a lake. It appears to be some sort of "half of a horseshoe" in that it has the old square nails that look just like the ones used to install horseshoes. If you have any information on the knives such as age, brand, etc or any idea what the iron piece is, I would be super grateful for the feedback. Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Your unknown iron is half an ox shoe. There was two halves per hoof for those critters. Nice finds for the day
