2 questions about At Pro settings

Hello the first question is why does the book say press and hold the ground balance button until you hear a minimal audio response then realese it When i dont hear any minimul audio response to auto ground balance?

The second question is what iron disc number is good to set at in general?

If I understand you correctly for the first question.........You must be in All Metal to GB. when you switch to disc the setting stays.

Start at 40 for iron disc. Depending where your hunting you could move it down as some white gold rings will ring up in Iron or Foil.

There are two ways to ground balance - automatic / hold button and pump coil until minimal audio ( I pump until the numbers stop changing) / release button and you are done. to do manual/ press GB button , use notch +- to adjust GB manually.Press button again to exit . I run disc at 36.
