This is Good info on processing gold black sand concentrate into a button for refining.

it shows the steps taken to take it from sand to the pre refined button.

This is a bit of gold and this was the gold this mining company could not separate off the concentrating table and wheel they had, they could not pan it either. The problem, lower assay gold. It didn't separate as easy for them with the settings they had. These are thirds concentrate. First and seconds usually get run together. thirds are hard to use off tables and requires special attention. So expert panners are to the rescue.

I didnt show the acid bath in the video where we upgraded the concentrate by dissolving away the tin. lead and some other not so fun stuff to deal with. A little lead was in the final melt but not enough to cause any problems.

The gold is then next refined to 999+ in our lab and then rolled and stamped into coin. I will be posting more videos as I make them.
