Hi all,
I've been busy lately with travels and work, so haven't gotten out much. A block from my house is a park (est. 1945) which has our town's yearly carnival. I went out for 3 short hunts to clad shoot. I guess all the activity has brought older stuff to the surface (no silver) but got some really old ratty clad (red to the extreme) in areas I've hunted out. Besides all the carny surface clad and older under the surface clad I found the following items:
A Denver Mint token -- the type you get when you visit the mint. It registered in the half dollar to dollar range on my f-70 (also registered at 2 inches, but was in reality 5 inches down). I found it strange. Perhaps it was play money or someones pocket piece.
Some trash jewelry including a ring that has script "mity mouse" on it, yes misspelled (the ring that looks like it could be used to throw a punch).
HH,
Jon
