Terry, your link does not seem to give prices...?? He suggests checking online auction sites and there. They are going anywhere from $0.99 - $1000 Hope this helps !
Keep @ it and HH !!

Is it just me or do there seem to be a lot more questions regarding the value of finds since the introduction of those rediculous metal detecting shows? :dontknow: I don't believe that either of those bells would fetch more than a few dollars, but that's just my opinion. Then again they might be priceless! :laughing7:

lol---- I really don,t care about the value as I will probably never sell any of my stuff unless I run across something quite valueable

I,m just being curious...I,m totally new to this stuff and want to learn....

I,m a firm believer in... if you don,t know ask and what better way to learn.

If I won the lottery I sure would like to know...!! Knowing the value of things to me is important. I "have" to sell the things I find, just to survive.. I think its good to know and important to know what you have and its value.... Otherwise you'll be like the people we buy stuff from at yard sales for a *quarter* later in life...

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

Not worth much but getting them both complete - priceless!

YA.. that was the nice part.... both are fully complete with no dents or chunks missing..kinda neat stuff !!!!

I dug up the same, or at least a very similar, bell to your bottom photo. If my memory serves me correctly it has the number 5 on the base of it. Great finds!

1 casper2Z.JPG VALUE DEPENDS ON MAKER - LIKE OTHERS SAID
THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT COLLECT BELLS - SO DEPENDS ON WHAT THEY ARE WILLING TO PAY
WHEN i WAS A KID IN THE LATE 70'S - I SOLD A FEW COLONIAL ONES FOR LIKE $5 A PIECE
FOR GAS MONEY

Those are really nice bells, but I am sure they are worth allot more to you then to a collector so hang on to them Aqua.
ZDD

Yes--most definitely ZDD

just that you never know when you find something very valuable...some of the oddest things are high value.

And I know next to nothing about this stuff so far..but I,m a learning !!!
