Last week I walked an old wood road. In about 400 meters I dug 4 wheat Pennies and my first Indian Head Penny. It lead me to believe there might be more in the area. Walked for a few hours and nothing but frozen hands. I then came across 3 foundations and a similar driveway/woods road behind them. About 2 minutes later I started to walk that road and dug this Star of David pendant marked sterling that was once on a necklace. Walked the road and back to where the pendant was and found the 2 mercs.

Nice finds and thanks for sharing.
That 1942 isn't the 42 over 41 rarity is it?
I don't know if you gave it a swipe in the field to see a date, but if you did please learn to wait until you can get some water and a soft toothbrush to clean it and avoid that scratching.
Either way, nice finds and I could sure use a hunt like that. Well done!
