LOL Why did the Employee let the Money Out of his Site ?:icon_scratch:
How did the Thieves Know there was a Large amount in his Car ?:icon_scratch:

So Obvious he was Either in on it,:dontknow:
Or An Idiot Who Bragged in front of the Wrong Person,
that even knew which car was his..:laughing7:

IF I had Some ones Bank Roll like that, My Hand would Never Leave the Bag till it was Turned over to The Bank or the Owner !
IN Fact I Would Probably Drive 1 Handed With My Right Hand Never Leaving my Grip on it :coffee2:

Looks like a Fairly New Business too ! Was not there in October Last Year.

So the thieves just happened to pick a random vehicle on a random day to break into. And it just happens to have a million dollars in cash sitting on the seat in bags. Sounds like an inside job, let me guess, the business owner probably had insurance to cover the loss.

Well, some employee has a lot of explaining to do. And the business owner, too. A million $$ in cash? How is that necessary or even possible?
The whole thing is so implausible!

He Cashes Checks ! Most likely if he's buying a Million Dollars
worth of Checks a day, He's Buying Forged checks also.
I agree with it my be an inside Job for insurance,
Before going out of business
Was it a cheque cashing business or a cash laundry business?
Inside job certainly.
I imagine if he was just washing cash for a cartel it might get a little warm.

So... let's say $500K, or only $100K, how many of us have ever driven at any time, going anywhere, with that kind of cash in their personal vehicle? I've carried maybe $5K,(I managed the world's largest Burger King) but for that kind of money you get a security service or a police escort. I agree with the fishy smell theory.

From owning a scrap metal business it wasn't uncommon for the Mrs to be getting $70-100K once a week from the bank.
Never had an issue either.
Having a Brinks truck or the like showing up on a weekly drop, also draws attention.

Sometimes it's better to fly under the radar.

A spokesperson for the business said the original seven-figure theft amount [at least a million dollars according to an unnamed police source] is significantly smaller. The initial information and high-dollar figure, they said, was due to a language barrier.
yea I think I heard closer to 1.4 Million or !
