To me, they look like candy dishes that would sit on end tables in a sitting room.

The pitcher symbol, no clue, SML stands for, Samuel M. Levi, the anchor and lion is Birmingham U.K., and the letter C is the date which I belive is the early 1900's

Did you try doing a search for silver halmarks and "SML" ?

yes i did, i found : SAMUEL M. LEVI, BIRMINGHAM
still dont know what the pitcher in front of the silversmith means

This is British Birmingham, & the pitcher is just a makersmark.

The S.M.L stands for Samuel M Levi, who was a Birmingham Silver Smith, during the Eadwardian period, and the date is 1902...

I'd describe these as beautifully pierced, divided, and lobed sweetmeat dishes. Are they footed?
