I escaped cabin fever today. Man was it windy. Could barely hear the speaker on my detector. Any way I managed to pull these before I went wind deaf.

Congrats on getting out and finding some lead.

You are a dedicated hunter to brave the elements.

Good luck sir!

Hey... at least you did not have to manually blow the dust off anything. :P

I try to get out atleast twice a week as long as the temperture is 40 something or better... I have hunted in the sleet before.but that was a couple of years ago when I had an outside job.. I lost my acclimation to severe weather for sure...

Nice job on the lead and getting out! :occasion14:

not much chance of finding a Flying Eagle in that wind :laughing7::laughing7: yer a brave digger :icon_thumleft:

Hear the speaker on your detector? If that's how you hunt you have no idea what you're missing without headphones. If I'm going to a spot with deep targets I wouldn't even bother without headphones.

Your absolutely right.. The detector in question is a "New To Me" GPX 4500... I've had it almost 3 weeks and used it 4 times.... And I am looking at getting another pair of Headphones just for it.
