Nice proof and buff.I have only found 4 proofs but I love the way they look.

Thanks, I think they are cool looking too, it went into a coin flip along with the buffalo, I have a feeling I won't be finding to many more of these. I'm also one of those guys who save all 59 and back nickels, I don't know why. It's just cool to have really old coins period, to me at least. Thanks for looking and good luck hunting! Maverick.

I save '60 and earlier and I'm up to over $400 face, ha.
 

I save 57 and back.i only have bout 2 rolls worth but I am still working on it.At least they are .999 nickels and worth bout 7.25 cents a piece.but I probably wont ever sell em.

American nickels were never .999 nickel. They are 75% nickel, 25% copper other than the war nickel. The pre-1983 Canadian nickel is .999 nickel.
