1st Matron Head LC Plus Silver,IHP and Unided Coin

Got out for a little while today got the following Matron Large Cent (No Date), 1897 Barber Dime, 1941 Merc, 1899 IHP and a Coin I have no clue what it is can't get any details out of it.

Can't really tell what it might be. Heavily corroded, (like most I find), but have you tried the heated peroxide bath? You really have nothing to loose. You should be able to, at least, ID what kind of coin it is after peroxide. It's what I do. Good Luck and Nice Finds! Hogge

Looks too big and too thin for a half cent. My guess is a never-to-be identified colonial copper. I have dozens of them.

Gave it a bath but know it's copper, rang as a copper penny. the detail is not there thu.

Thats what I was thinking myself it's half the thickness of the Matron LC same size just half as thick.

Richard, could def be a KG copper. You've already found another one close by. Didn't you think you could possibly see a lady sitting before you cleaned it? Like others have said, might want to go ahead and sink it in the peroxide. I'm surprised that you couldn't get a date off that matron head.
