Hey all...Woke to snow this morning and decided to rifle the treasure chest.? After I took the pictures, I realized that I hadn't put it all out.? My most recent finds, the 1917 S series 1 SLQ and 1912 D V nickel didn't make the shot.? That's OK though, since it's only a partial representation of my finds anyway.? Early on in the year I cashed in $66.00 of clad at a coinstar machine.? I also let my nieces rifle through the jewelry finds and keep what they wanted in August.? These are some of the more interesting finds though, that would fit in one picture.? Not shown are my relic collection, my toy car collection and my antique button collection.? I remember last December when I was trying to decide which MD to buy and would see pictures of "FINDS" on the internet.? Thinking to myself, "Yeah right, I believe you found all that in a year!"? Now I believe.? What a great hobby.? Happy Hunting All~CO2 ;D

Seeker-I have hunted alot of parks this year.? Systematically.? Got maps of all surrounding towns and hit them one at a time.?
Jake-I'll try and get some of my other finds posted but putting this post together made me realize that I don't have much of a system for storing my finds.? They're scattered all over the place.?
BSCO-More than you can imagine.? Mountains of pull tabs!!!
CIV-I'm going to put that together Lance.
Max-Ended up with White's MXT.? All of these finds were with that machine.? Recently picked up a DFX but haven't logged more than about 5 hours with it yet.
IDBurdie-Schools, parks, beaches, rest areas, churches, private yards, pretty much anywhere I can get permission to hunt.? I'm an MD slut, but I don't like looking over my shoulder while I'm hunting.? My favorite has been middle and high schools.? That's where a majority of the jewelry came from.
LW-I'm looking forward to that!
MB36-I fully expect your 1st year pile to far surpass mine.? It took me alot longer to cross "antique ring" and "cache" off my list! Thanks for sewing up permission on the house where I got the barber dime.? See you next weekend~CO2 ;D

You have an awful lot of jewelry there. How much is gold/silver? and what karats? Anything of truly significant value?

btw, VERY nice job! :)

Congratulations on a great year. Thatsa lota jewelry.

Is there much difference between your MXT and your DFX, co2?

Hey Haup...Thanks for the kudo's. The difference between my MXT and DFX is that the MXT sees some hunt time and the DFX is still just a passenger in the hunt-mobile. I've only got about 5/6 hours on the DFX but I like it. I bought a 1400 eclipse deep scan for it and that's the only coil I've used on it. As you know, it's highly adjustable and I don't have time to learn it right now. We went subzero here about a week ago and everything is locked up tight. Next spring may be the first real action the DFX sees. HH~CO2 ;D

Real nice display of finds Colorado. You have 2 nice detectors to use. Dfx is still a better unit in my opinion. Tone i.d helps dramatically in trashy sites. I need to pick up a 1400 this winter and re go over alot of spots. I have to see what is deeper than I can go. Good luck nothing happens over night with these units.

HH Jer
