Dug my first IH pocket spill. 1897,1898,1900,1902 and 1910 Wheat in the same hole. As I was pulling them out I was wishing for silver, but no luck. This is an amazing new site I found. Same place I found the 1752 Spanish silver. I dug about a dozen wheats and no modern pennies. If i dig a Lincoln penny its a surprise. Found a buffalo nickle a silver Rosie dime, but then found the show stopper, old Key. At first when I dug it there was a dark heavy dirt crust around it, but when I got home I started to work the dirt off and realized it had a beautiful patina with some gold gild left on it. It is now one of my favorite relic find in 5 years of detecting. 007.JPG001.JPG009.JPG005.JPG008.JPG011.JPG010.JPG006.JPG

Nice variety of finds and congratulations on the IH Cent pocket spill!

That key caught my eye more than the rest. It makes me wonder what it goes to. What if they hid both the box and key underground just in seperate locations of eachother? That'd be a treasuretale, keep diggin' that area!!!!

NICE HIT !!---:occasion14:
