My opinion is to leave the finger print alone. The coin is what it is. A cleaning or wiping on a copper coin is not recomended.

the finger print makes it more Valuable.
Just ask the Home shopping channel.

an extra $200.00 on it. because your
buying the fingerprint too :P
Jeff i wish you were right :D even if you were i don't think i'd sell it well, maybe :)

i Exagerated, but I have heard h.s. try to say worn 1900 Morgans are worth
$30.00 Because they were actually Handled by People
for a long time.
And this was when silver was $4.00 an OZ :P

how do you get a double strike on certain text but the rest of the die is clear?
were talking about a single die strike, unless theres a flaw in the die its self, which would mean there are many of the same strike in circulation

It is on the die itself bradyboy. It wasn't struck twice.

thanks for the reply l.cutler i did ask a dealer he said he did'nt see anything and i don't plan on selling it
i was just wondering if it was a true double die and what if any ? worth it had thanks much !!

If that dealer said he could not see anything, either he is blind, or was interested in buying it from you for one cent!
