I knew that in 95 there was a double die with the coins that came from the Philadelphia mint and if memory serves it had to do with "Liberty" but I have a 1995 D that has doubling on the date and mint mark and "In God we trust" now this is scanned so its really a poor example of trying to judge off of but you can still see a little of the doubling in the picture but my question is was there a double die that year that included 95 D and if so I wonder if this is an example of one.

Hey Mr Tex, good and bad news for your penny ( in my humble opinion anyway!). There are documented 95 Denver double die pennies. I did a close up scan of yours and it revealed a lot of small scratches and gouges along the face and rim so the "doubling" you see could be from the damage, looks like it may have been face down on concrete and gotten run over. On the other hand it looks like some authentic doubling may be present also! With or without the damage. The 1995 Philly mint double die is the more common , you have the Denver mint, which some sources say is extremely rare! Here is a link with some info. Take it to a reputable coin dealer...good luck, hope you got something there!
