1982 lc 7 types????

So which one is the rare one???? The lcr list the 7 under varieties??

From my position in CA, this is how common the seven varieties seem to be to me. None of them are particularly "rare," and you should be able to put a full set together in a box or two easily.

1982 Copper, Large Date Very common
1982 Copper, Small Date Harder to find
1982 Zinc, Large Date Very Common
1982 Zinc, Small Date Medium
1982-D Copper, Large Date Very Common
1982-D Zinc, Large Date Medium
1982-D Zinc, Small Date Harder to Find

If I understand your question correctly, there are 7 normal strikes.

There are both large date and small date varieties and they also changed the composition during 1982.

So which one is the rare one???? The lcr list the 7 under varieties??

I think the only "rare" one is the 8th one: 1982-S at 3.8M (NIFC). The others were minted in the billions.
no mm: 10B+
'D' mm: 6B+
'S' mm: 3.8M

Those with no mm might have come from Philly, Westpoint, or SanFran. That is why the no mm mintage is so much higher than 'D' mm.

I haven't come across the mintage numbers by composition and/or lg/sm date variety. I suspect that it exists for composition, but probably not for lg/sm date.
