Match up evenly? You mean the thickness of the rim?

If this is what you mean, it is VERY common for one side to seem a bit off-center while the other side looks good. However, even if both sides are off, a coin still isn't worth any more unless they're off by more than a fraction.
 

Know if the head is straight then the building on the back is crooked
 

If they had was at 12 o'clock the building would be pointed at 4
