I have found many of them - At least 15. The 1954 S and the 1949 P are non existent for me. I have found well over 1000 dimes and have yet to find these 2.

My favorite teller was born in '55 and asked me to save one for her if I found one. Looks like she may be waiting for awhile. I did get her a small collection of 1955 date foreign coins as a good-will gesture. :)

I search in the Milwaukee, WI area.

In 2010 I found 286 silver dimes total. Not one 1955 (of any of the 3 mint marks). In fact the only six of the entire 48-coin series of 1946-1964 that I did not find were the 46S, 49, 55, 55D, 55S & 58. Of the 286, 255 were Roosies, 22 Mercs, 2 Barber (undated & 1911) and 7 Canadian silver.

So far in 2011 I have found 243 silvers but still no 55's. I have found one Barber this year, 1901.

I have six '55's out of 850 silver dimes (from assorted mints). I also have three 1954-S's from my CRH pursuits.

1949-S was the only one I never found in rolls, so I had to resort to buying one at a coin show.

Im not sure how many ill have to check but I think I have found at least 5
