Found this at work about a year ago and folded it up like a dummy Is it anything special?

It is actually a 1950E series $5 note, which is the rarest, most difficult 1950x note to find. Yours appears to be in nice shape, too bad you folded it further though. The 1950E was only printed for FRBs B,G and L and in very small quantities. That is a very nice find for being in circulation.
