Taegu was the line that the North Koreans were stopped after sweeping over most of Korea. The were trying to get to Pusan but the South Korean army and a hand full of US troops held the line.
Found these relics close to base this weekend. Slow digging because the danger of live rounds but I have been lucky so far.

Your year over there is about over, are you excited about the next assignment? I've retired and been hunting down job leads here in Goldsboro. Those are some nice finds, I really like the oak barrel you picked up!
