This is been sitting locked in fairly deep in the woods! right next to a small CW camp that I have been hunting for quite a-while now. Have often wondered if someone could use this every-time i walk by it?? (for a restoration project) but then forget about it, til I walk by it again! so I figured i would take a picture and get some help.

Was told by a expert today in antique cars and stuff that this is in pretty good condition and can be restored to it's fullest by a professional restoration. But did not give mention on value!! I never thought this would be worth much?? but after seeing a show the other night about antique car/truck restorations, I just have to ask? Was told this could be worth from $500 to almost $2,000? If you know anything about antique cars and truck restoration or just in general ! please comment!!! and let me know what you think. I have asked in Antique car forums like this What year is this Dodge grill from? and have just pretty much only figured out it is from 1941-1946.

I am just really trying to figure out if it would be worth dragging this thing about half a mile out of the woods and saving her for someone who might want it for a restoration project or something??? also not to mention the whole truck is sitting there pretty much busted up and other parts laying around like hoods, bumpers, etc.. So is it worth it?

Theres an old early 1900's Model T, (what it looks like) in the woods were I hunt, I've scoured over the area for a grill or some sort of part indicating a model. If I found that Dodge grill, I'd be dragging it out. I wouldnt sell it though, I find a shop to clean her up (maybe paint) for me and keep it. But then again Im ol Dodge fan. Great Find.

kool , old Dodge classic . The trim is stainless not chrome , needs an expert resto but would be ok for a daily driver . Not sure if you will break even with the trim piece . Car and truck parts are tricky, it is a labor of love with some models .

Guy from the Antique Car Forum I posted this on messaged me and told me he would give me $350 for it. Hey about the same price as US or Eagle sword buckle. I can't complain : ) only problem is he lives in Kansas! ha. shipping?

Can I get the name of that forum Please? I would like to send a few photos over and see if someone could identify the old car in the woods near me.

LETS ALL HAVE A COOK OUT

Cool! I have a front end to a 1949 Ford. It would look good hanging on the family room wall. Only problem is, it is still attached to the rest of the truck. If you can, you should save it--someone out there needs it.

I just found a Model T hubcap and also a Cheverolet hubcap from the mid 20's....but nothing that big!

Easy Day...just drive it through the wall and patch up around it....problem solved...unless you are married and the ole' lady isn't pleased!

Awesome find. Good thing is was above ground. You would be digging! LOL

I'd haul it outta there in a heartbeat.

On a side note.. I just wish there were some actual woods within 50 miles of me that I could detect in, much less one with an old truck or car sitting in it.
