I bought a bunch of notes today. All from the 20s and 30s and 50s of 1,2,5,10,20,50,&100 denominations. Its hard to look up older star notes as I got three in the bunch ($608 face). The one I'm most interested in finding the value is the 1934 $50 with the serial number J00004334*. The lower left corner is just folded on itself-not missing. No creases-very crispy bill. Can anyone that can give me a web site for looking up old bills or an estimated value of the 50? Cant get my picture to upload....will try later.....

If plain, the Kansas City $50 Star bill Retail Value Range is between $90 in VG-8 up to $190 in EF-40. If your series is "A" that bill's value starts at about $150 in VG-8, rising to $650 in EF-40. "B" is the rarest (only 2,500 printed) and retail values start at about $1,250 but that couldn't be your bill's series with the number 4334. KC didn't print any $50 Series C star bills nor any bills in Series D.
Don.......
