1930's NYC Bricklayers

Here's a great photo of bricklayers in Newark, NJ in the 1930's. The one with his foot up on the block is my great-grandfather, Luigi, who immigrated to NY in 1905 from Penne, Italy. I know that he worked on many famous NYC landmarks, including the World Trade Centers.

Wow that's cool. The picture looks really good and captures the atmosphere very well. How big is it in reality? For my part what I have done with my old family pictures: I have collected them and put them on my wall. And they keep reminding me of these nostalgic art prints. They are really decorative and have a value beyond their material one.

Nice shot and super actually having a picture of your great-grandfather - thanks for sharing artemis moon.

Cool photo, but I kinda doubt he worked on the WTC unless he was working in his 70s or older. Maybe the Empire State building?? How's the Safari doing?? Been trying lower sensitivity in the trashy areas and finding it more stable??
