1922 peace dollar

Found this after hunting with vino,I was an hour and a half away from my house in vino's turf. We got permission, he found a 1929 merc, 1864 Indian and another Indian.I found a oil lamp and a 1919 s wheat.I left him assigned on the way in I had spotted a old abandon house. On the way home,I jumped out and ran through the yard. Just as I was leaving, out popped this 2 inches down.

You know, to hear allot of you guys that have been doing this for so many years and not found a silver dollar makes me feel very fortunate that I was lucky enough to stumble across this beautiful old coin. Something else that makes me feel good is no one seen or mention the fact that I nipped this beauty in between the 1 and 9. I haven't hit too many of my coins, but boy did I nail this one. I really feel bad I damaged this, almost like breaking a rare bottle. But I don't feel so bad because now I have one in my hand. My better half asked me tonight why I had it in my car, I told her because I want to show everyone my new coin. She just looked at me and shook her head. Thanks again guys for your kind words.

Oh yeah, I licked this one to get a date!

Awesome finds! I actually found a 1922 peace dollar myself just a few days ago. It sure is an indescribable feeling when you first see that big 'ol coin show itself as you turn over your plug.
