So yesterday I was going through some wheaties I dug earlier in the year. I have 2 zip-lock bags to go through so far... So I grabbed a hand full and the 3rd coin I rinsed under water was this hard to find wheatie!!! This is the real deal, no traces of a weak D anywhere with a strong reverse! Thanks for looking & Happy Hunting! image-211722577.webp image-930038714.webp image-2551270131.webp image-1763699549.webp

Nice coin but sorry, it has been too long between the find and posting to make banner.

Ahhhh, I see he said he found them earlier in the year. Thanks for the clarification Treasure Hunter.

Nice find ! But thread moved to Best Finds,
Because Technically you dug it earlier in the year, making it Not a "Today's Find"
of Aug 29, or even near.

congrats though !

Thats really cool, worth some cool money too. I love checking all my dates as I find them. Couple of my buddies have coins everywhere they don't know what they have, if they don't see the scary face with chains on the back they throw it in the back of there pickups, lol. From the start I keep looking for that "winning lottery ticket" sometimes I feel like the harder I look the less chance I'll have at finding it.

Very rare coin! There were barely any made! Seems to be in decent shape. At least a $750 coin!

That's so cool. Finding a rare key date.
