Congrats! A canadian half dime was my first "good find."

Curious... how deep was it? I'm finding many half dimes are very shallow. Mine was only an inch deep tops!

Great day there! Sweet 15s!

Nice job Neil...sweet Canadian 1/2 dime and a nice 15-s wheatie.
What!! No more "extended" lunches? Now you're doing the whole
day.....bundle up...it's cold out there. :hello:

Yeah ~ this is the 2nd Canadian half dime that I have dug in the last 2 months ~ both were only like 3 inches deep, but they sound like a deep wheat cent on my e-Trac!

The half dimes (fish scales ) are usually shallow. I found one once at 6", but the other 18 have been 4" or less. Yours is beautiful. The one everyone wants to find is 1921. Only 400 are known. Plus the one in my dream last night!!

Congrats on a great hunt

Nice little Canadian half dime and other finds!
