Dug this wheat penny with the DFX yesterday. Also got a 1946 and a 1948 wheat and a handful of clad. 90% of the wheats I dig have corrosion, so this was a nice surprise. Stay warm, Eric

Looks like it is in fairly good shape for being in the ground. Modern day zinc pennies would not have lasted half as long. Very nice find.

All over America, and even in other lands, hearts are returning to their normal rhythm. Using the moniker "1916-D" is like yelling "fire" in a movie theater . Nice detail on the coin, though.
