1910 Boy Scout Good Luck charm with Swastika ???

Found this at about 3 inches at a residential traffic circle, it is a little bigger than a US half dollar and is dated July 1910. Am I correct in understanding that the swastika was the Boy Scout Symbol prior to WW II ?? Does anyone have any information as to what this is and it's value?

Love, light, life, luck is the meaning of the swastika. The Boy Scouts did have a metal with a swastika on it and the 1933 World Fair coin had a swastika on it.

Matt’s on point. Before the nazis used the swaztika it had a few different meanings. All good. I saw a boy scout handbook from the 30’s and it had it on the cover.
