Detector(s) used
WHITES MXT ,GARRET ACE150,GARRET SEA HUNT MARK II.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I've been out of the detection in the last two months because of fatigue and the weather too cold, yesterday went out to hunt for four hours in some fields that are extract Vineyards and turned into fields of grain, was a good occasion because with the vineyards also come to the surface the findings that were buried deeper before planting the vines during the last centuries.
:hello:

Glad to see you back and digging those great old finds again H. I hope you continue to feel stronger and search those vineyards as you are one of the most consistent detectorists on Tnet and always have very productive hunts. HH, Quindy.
Thank you! ... are pruning the vines and I can not hunt there, I'll move to the grain fields of the North, but not as good. :-\

Very nice finds. I have two similar dice found at a Roman site in Macedonia but, sadly, not by me. You created a collection in just one day. Well done.

Chuck
I think the Romans made cubes only from bone and stone .... This is Gold plated copper . I do not know much about these findings is the first in my life .... these finding is strange to me.

:icon_thumleft: Great finds. Thanks for the pictures. Looks like a beautiful area.

This area is much more beautiful in spring and summer that everything is green and the vines filled with grapes, you can eat while you bathe in the river nearby and takes a nap under a tree ..... I am actually counting the days until the arrival of spring and to hunt 100%.

Looks like what we are used to from you, lots of variety which is always a good thing :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

NOW THAT IS A BUEATIFUL PLACE TO ENJOY FINDING SUCH GREAT FINDS

These coins are very common here, are found in almost all fields to a greater or lesser extent, are of billon, an alloy of silver very poor.

I have seen two dug ones here in western germany at roman sites. Measuring about 1cm, one from copper and the other from lead. But Yours with gold plating and a mount for a chain? :dontknow:

I would say Good Luck, but I think you have that covered...lol :icon_thumleft:
