I got out for a little while yesterday to a Cornwallis site (inhabited up to this day) & found a few keepers including a nice plated ring (any idea on age?), an 1889 Indian head & a keyhole cover. The crude brass button & small roundball with intact sprue were the only items found that could be related to the camp. I found the plantation hoe at another site earlier in the day. Not a lot but happy to get out (sweating in December!) with some good friends & save a little history.
