How would you go about getting the corrosion off?

i WOULD NOT RUB,that coin at all unless you want to totally lose any value!!!!

that is why i said ' what i do' to each his own,it came out of the dirt....

So why do further damage?I have dug many a coin,that even under a microscope one could not tell it had,"Been in the dirt".You do what you feel the need to do,but dont give folks poor advice.That is a rare Mint Mark
