Hit up an 1870s school site on Friday before the weather went south. The wind is blowing way to hard today for detecting, so I figured I would upload these finds.
Starting left top, 1880s Indian head penny. Can’t get the exact date due to corrosion.
1914 wheat, 1909 wheat, and finally my favorite find of the day was this 1906 liberty head nickel. It’s a first for me. I also found this cool purple stone laying on top of the ground. I think it’s an amethyst. Unfortunately it wasn’t sitting in gold. When the weather clears up hopefully I can get back out there and pull out a silver.
