Darn. And here I thought, damn finally. LOL. Anyhow, thank you for helping me out.My guess is replica. That coin looks circulated, and I don’t believe any of the csa coins were. Also base metal doesn’t look to be copper. Perhaps put into a tumbler to “age” the coin
Hmmm, well that definitely busts my bubble. LOL. Does it have any value?
yes Confederate coins are real.... this one.... $750 to about $2,000From a coin collectors point of view, it’s a real shame the confederates didn’t mint 100,000 of those and put them in circulation. Confederate artifacts go for big money and confederate coins would be over the top.
I'm referring to the copy paste post that I did showing the OP his piece was a 1960 copy. Not 100% sure it does. The 1960 coin was copper (as I understand), the pic above (original) isn’t (my guess) a copper blank. I’m guessing it’s a <10 yr old souvenir which was “aged”
Well $750 to $2000 sounds Hella good to someone who's as financially broke. How can I sell it? And, or..... Wanna buy it?yes Confederate coins are real.... this one.... $750 to about $2,000

That's a totally different coin, a genuine half dollar struck at the New Orleans mint after the Confederacy took control of it. Yours is not worth anywhere near that.Well $750 to $2000 sounds Hella good to someone who's as financially broke. How can I sell it? And, or..... Wanna buy it?
Probably more like $7.50-That's a totally different coin, a genuine half dollar struck at the New Orleans mint after the Confederacy took control of it. Yours is not worth anywhere near that.
