Went back to where I found the spanish silver last week for a physically punishing hunt through thick brush. Well I didn't find the century I was looking for and there was no silver, but I've never found either of these dudes before. I'll take them even if they are ugly.

Poor quality pics and process; our basement is under construction and I don't have any of my usual set up.

Have a good week everybody

Still hoping to dig one of those Eagles, it's hard to even dig the older Indians out here.
Looks like a great return for a hard days work!
Kudos!

Thanks Carl. Funny what we'll do for this hobby; at least 25% of that 3 hour hunt was spent in a low crouch. 5% was me saying "ow!" as I repeatedly got stabbed in the face by branches. And yet it was worth it!

Congratz on both of those coins! It seems like you have one hellava good spot! BTW, I'm very jealous of the FE, I want to dig one so bad!
This spot is just plain weird. I've only dug 5 coins here: the 4 you see here and a 1783 Spanish 1/2 real. WTF?? Crossing my fingers for your FE though!

Congrats on the finds. You get a lot of good stuff, well done sir.
Thanks Tom, I respect your hunts, and appreciate the nod.
