I have not posted in a while. I have had some of my friends email me and asked me to put my latest finds on TreasureNet. These are my better finds for the last month. I have not been out very much because there has been a lot of flooding in our area. My first find was an old cast-iron wrecker that is about 8 inches long. I put it into electrolysis and removed most of the gunk off of it. The second picture is of a compact and other assorted items I found around a house built in the 1950s. The GATE KEEPER badge was found in the same yard as the wrecker. This is the same site that I had found other badges previously. The old key, harmonica reed, and door lock came from an 1840 house that Vol1266X got us permission to hunt around. We also found some coins in the yard. I found an 1853 Seated dime and the other coin I found was a French 1814 Un Decime. Vol1266X found an 1854 Napoleon III copper coin and an 1866 Italian coin. The 1944S Mercury dime is one I found around an old house in my home town. The buttons were also found in my home town. I am not sure if the Eagle button is military issue. If anyone can ID it for me, I would appreciate it. Thanks for looking,
Dman

Looks like you all are in a good spot. The button if it is actually a nacy button is probably early to mid 1900's. From the face it looks more like a sewing button with a navy motif. There was a time when I would run away from a house site. Anymore I'm glad to find them. I've found all three of my confederate state buckles at old trashy house sites.

I've had requests to post a pic of the 1854 copper Napoleon III 29 mm coin with rim damage so here it is. The Italian and French coin are the same size. HH, Quindy
