Went back to the token foundation today. We hunted for 3 hours without much luck- I was ready to go and my buddy said 5 more minutes, which works every time. I slowed down and worked through the junk. For the next hour I picked up a bunch of signals. Got a 59 on the at-pro with a bunch of chatter. Dig it up and I see a very small silver coin- big smile because I knew is was my first trime 1852. My next signal was the same and I see silver again. This one image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegis bigger. Out of the hole, it's a dime size, very worn and thin coin. 1 reale maybe? Picked up some buttons and buckles. Glad we did 5 more minutes.

Very nice coin and relic hunt, congratulations! The trime is always a great find. :occasion14:

You had a great day bro. :occasion14: That's definitely a one real Spanish silver. Couldn't possibly be an American silver and be that thin. Those close up pics I took of it don't really show much.

The pic of the trime was a little better. You can definitely make out the date.

Congrats on your two bucket listers. The next Spanish silver you find will definitely have more detail than that one. :laughing7:

Definitely NOT a one real. It's a half real if it is a Spanish silver. Too small for a one real. If I let my imagination run wild I almost see a bust facing left. Spanish portrait silvers are facing right.

Congrats on the great finds!! A 3-center of any kind has proven to be elusive to me..

That silver "coin" was hamered, now is unrecognizable

Sweet! Nice bucket list find! Congrats!

Congrats on the 3 cent silver. I was lucky enough to find two at one site earlier this year. They are a cool hard to find coin

Great little trime. I'd love to add one at some point

Congrats on the silvers, especially that nice little trime!

Great trime. I tend to think you found yourself a worn 1/2 Reale. The extensive wear would indicate it was probably lost around the same time as the trime. Congrats, a trime is on my list

They were found near each other. Thanks for the info. The token from last week was only a few feet away too.

You had a great hunt! Looks like that reale was marked up to be cut into quarters.

Congratz on a bucket lister! The trime is probably at the top of the list of things I want to find. I agree with previous posters that the other coin is a half real if it is spanish.

Did you ever get any detail off the piece of that two piece button? It really looked like there was something on there when I looked at it.

Great job on that silver 3 Cent piece. Thats a tough one to pull from the depths of the dirt.
