1852 trime-bucket list

Went back to the token foundation today. We hunted for 3 hours without much luck- I was ready to go and my buddy said 5 more minutes, which works every time. I slowed down and worked through the junk. For the next hour I picked up a bunch of signals. Got a 59 on the at-pro with a bunch of chatter. Dig it up and I see a very small silver coin- big smile because I knew is was my first trime 1852. My next signal was the same and I see silver again. This one is bigger. Out of the hole, it's a dime size, very worn and thin coin. 1 reale maybe? Picked up some buttons and buckles. Glad we did 5 more minutes.

You had a great day bro. That's definitely a one real Spanish silver. Couldn't possibly be an American silver and be that thin. Those close up pics I took of it don't really show much.



The pic of the trime was a little better. You can definitely make out the date.



Congrats on your two bucket listers. The next Spanish silver you find will definitely have more detail than that one.

Definitely NOT a one real. It's a half real if it is a Spanish silver. Too small for a one real. If I let my imagination run wild I almost see a bust facing left. Spanish portrait silvers are facing right.

Great trime. I tend to think you found yourself a worn 1/2 Reale. The extensive wear would indicate it was probably lost around the same time as the trime. Congrats, a trime is on my list

Congratz on a bucket lister! The trime is probably at the top of the list of things I want to find. I agree with previous posters that the other coin is a half real if it is spanish.
