1851 victorian gold

found this today its 18 carat gold with an inner inscription which says " my mother catherine hardie died 8th march 1851

Thanks for the reply folks I will tell the full story with pictures on Saturday when I receive it back from the jewelers as it is having the small plough damage dent repaired
