Me and my bud Weaver got out to a soggy bottom yesterday, approximately 200 acres or more. We had to walk
4400' from where we parked the truck to the site. This is among the deepest coins that I can somewhat confirm,
It was at least 8" deep. It started out as a solid penny/dime hit at 8", once it was out of the hole it was making
my tone ID sing and ID'ed as a quarter. Besides this we found a couple of flat buttons each and I found an old
bent up copper ring. I had been on a long dry streak, I almost forgot what felt like to dig an old coin.
Good luck to every one.
