Haven't posted anything for awhile, got a new machine (Whites XLT) that i absolutely love... been out 11 times with it, still learning the different LCD numbers & Sounds and just about digging everything... here's my finds from the last two hunts at a house dating back to 1840.. which has since been torn down. the bust capped was standing on edge at about 6" deep, thanks for looking.

wow that quarter is sweet! congrats :headbang: :headbang:

Even before reading the replies, I was going to assert that very few of those are posted. There are lots of dimes and half dimes even, but not quarters. Very nice find, and pretty, too!

That capped bust quarter is stunning!!!I have dug the Capped bust dime and half dime but the half and quarter has eluded me!
I used the XLT for years too, dang good machine,my cousin still uses one and just dug his third gold coin with it

neat find man! is that thing as expensive as i think it is?!?!

wow! thats awesome. i have a friend who says the xlt is the best machine he ever owned and he misses it. ive never seen a capped bust quarter posted.what part of mass ya from? :) willy

Banner coin.. Low mintage, great shape, and either just the 2nd or 3rd bust quarter ive seen posted

hey, that's the good stuff!
don't see too many of those early quarters coming up.
sweet! :headbang:

I was going to say exactly the same thing. Nice finds for sure!

Wow... Never seen a Capped Quarter posted before, truly an awesome coin find there!! :headbang: :notworthy: Congrats on all the silver!

PCGS says that's at least a $100 dollar coin but, it seems to be in great shape. Maybe worth more than 1K on PCGS site. Nicely done.

Congrats on some nice coins... Love my XLT and the adjustability of it

I'm guessing a lot closer to 1K than 100.

I'm guessing that too, but you never know with a dug coin (I just went with the ID'able G4 value on the chart). I took my capped half dime that looks about like a 150 dollar coin that I dug to a dealer and he knew right away it was dug and said, that it was only worth about $25.

Thats an amazing Capped Bust Quarter!

sweet low mintage, early silver banner bump.
value aside, how many of these have been
posted in the last three or four years?
