This is my first finds post of 2021. I have dug plenty of holes since our Spring season started a few weeks ago and hope I'm as lucky and can return to post again for the last 3 weeks.

My last hunt is what has me dusting off the old keyboard. The finds from yesterday are... War of 1812 British Royal Marines Cartridge plate, 1700s British 18th Light Dragoons button, 1812 George III 18 Pence, Tallio cufflink and the pic with the cartwheel and two conder halfpennies. The rest is the better finds from previous hunts.

Beautiful finds! I love the design of the 18th Light Dragoons button. Bold! That is some very kind soil.

Based on my book these type of stamped silver coins were popular in Ireland. "Dublin Slap Tokens"

All good finds!
I like the eighteenpence token, only had one of those & it's in good shape.
I see you got a counter-stamped blank sixpence, normally they are William III.

This particular field is a little better. Most things come out with a pretty decent green patina and not heavily corroded.

Wow you're off to a great start, as always! Drooling over those finds brother. Keep em coming! I have to live vicariously through your finds lol. This year will be a bust for me, as you know lol
