This is my first finds post of 2021. I have dug plenty of holes since our Spring season started a few weeks ago and hope I'm as lucky and can return to post again for the last 3 weeks.

My last hunt is what has me dusting off the old keyboard. The finds from yesterday are... War of 1812 British Royal Marines Cartridge plate, 1700s British 18th Light Dragoons button, 1812 George III 18 Pence, Tallio cufflink and the pic with the cartwheel and two conder halfpennies. The rest is the better finds from previous hunts.

Wow! Excellent recoveries IP. Since the ground has thawed, Canada has been on fire!!

Awesome ....congratulations on your nice achievement

Great strong start to our spring season...new sites has been the secret to success.
Working a little harder sure has been paying off.
As always, great bunch of finds!

I'll say it again, the big break was the hour wasted in the popcan field! If not for that I may not be posting. Funny how it goes, and of course you never know what would have happened had no one got home and we kept driving.

Frigging stellar hunt IP... well done and then some... beings i am a "cannon buff"... i like the toy canon best :)

Multiple "Banner finds" in my book.

Iron Patch,

What an incredible hunt, the Royal Marine cartridge plate and the 18th Light Dragoon’s button are in amazing condition. Again, what an incredible hunt. Good luck with your hunts - I hope you didn’t use up your full year’s supply this hunt. Walt

Great finds!! Is the little cannon brass! My grandson and I collect cannons and we have one just a little bigger than that.

Well Done Iron Patch on some Great Saves on the War of 1812 artifacts. The Cartridge Plate and the button are over the top. You hit a great spot. Continued Success to you and Thanks for the pic's.

Great to see you out and about, amassing some stellar finds as well. I'm torn pick a winner out the grouping that's for sure.
The 18th LD is a winner and also the silver 18 pence is in crisp condition for sure.
Now the cannon alone would make anyone smile for many moons as its top shelf material.
Congrats IP a hit it out of the park post up.

All good finds!
I like the eighteenpence token, only had one of those & it's in good shape.
I see you got a counter-stamped blank sixpence, normally they are William III.

Wow, outstanding!!!!!!!!!

That's a whole lot of amazing finds- Strong work- Congrats!!

Geez...your killing it !! Great finds...congrats !!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Finding any one of those would make anyone's day! :occasion14:
