well got out today and hit an old side that has been hammered. In the first 15 minutes, dug a 1808 Draped Bust Half Cent at about 5" deep. Nothing else of note showed up but it was only a 2.5 hr hunt. Also found a musket ball. It's amazing how many times I'll go to site and the first thing I dig is an old coin or silver coin. Must be some kind of 'coin witching' ability. Anybody else have this frequently happen?

Was a perfect day for hunting in PA. Even the moon was out late in the morning.

That often happens to me >maybe when you are just starting your concentration and attention are at their peak.

well thanks all! It's in better shape than any of my LC's so far. My last couple hunts were dismal in high heat but this one made up for them! ;D

whitesPA - SE PA!

Mona Lisa - the C. Lady is one of my fav. characters by D.G. :)

Slabman - yeah I've heard the same from a couple dowsers.

Wonderful half-cent! The moon in your last photo is a nice touch for a perfect day's hunt ;)

thanks all - this is in best shape I've seen yet for half cent.
:)
