Went back to my new farm permission today. Spent about 6 hrs in the fields. First day didn't produce much only some whatzits and a buff. Today went to a different location and found a semi old foundation. Ended up with 4 old toy cars, piece to a cap gun, 2 D buckles, war buff ( my first one), 23 wheats, automobile club southern Cali ?, and the find of the day. 1853 Waltham Watch Co. silver pocket watch. serial number indicates this was the first year produced for public and the 169th of 35 million made by the end of 1957. I was not expecting that....mind blown.:hello2:

Thanks A2coins. It is certainly different from the everyday find. I cant get over the fact that it was the first year made. Number 169 out of 35,000,000.
