Went back to make sure the spot I was at yesterday was cleaned out. Got two more coins and a smal flat button. One coin was a blank disc but luckily I found one that turned out well. It’s a 1796 Joseph Archibald half penny conder token. He was a seedsman. I’ve dug other 1790’s conder tokens in the past but not this type and most are in bad shape. The pictures don’t do it justice. Amazing condition for that token after 200 years+. The soil where you found it seems to be kind to copper. I'd hunt that place again!

The soil was really harsh on all of the others but that one. I have no idea why but I’m glad it was good this time! [emoji16]
